Job Description

As a Performance Acquisition Account Manager, you will be responsible for Performance Marketing/Affiliation strategies for a major Publicis Groupe client. You will manage the advertiser's communications in collaboration with your Manager, the Publicis Conseil team dedicated to the client, and directly with the client's communication managers. You will ensure the quality of Publicis's efforts, manage and develop the most efficient performance acquisition strategies, contributing to client satisfaction, retention, and growth on the managed channel.

In your client support role, you will continuously provide recommendations and build conviction. You will participate in defining the most suitable multi-channel media plans to meet growth objectives and ensure operational excellence in execution. You will coordinate the agency's network of platform, ad tech, and publisher partners. As a skilled negotiator, you will identify the best distribution partners and secure preferential placements and rates. You will be responsible for brand image and the agency's reputation with these partners, fostering effective relationships to align them with client projects.

Ultimately, you will demonstrate your analytical and advisory skills through campaign reviews, highlighting the agency's consulting dimension.

Responsibilities

The Missions
  • Manage client brands for Performics with performance acquisition objectives.
  • Understand client needs and create tailored media plans.
  • Monitor campaigns/programs: objectives, volumes, budgets, etc.
  • Internal and client reporting: set up and issue weekly and monthly reports.
  • Continuously research and activate new partners.
  • Coordinate clients and partners for promotional creative asset development.
  • Coordinate clients and partners for technical implementation processes (e.g., pixel implementation on landing pages, webservice implementation).
  • Develop recommendations to optimize campaigns.
  • Upsell agency and/or partner solutions to brands.
  • Participate in the creation of contractual documents (purchase orders) and invoicing (and partner payments).
  • Brief and coordinate agency trafficking teams and partners.
  • Manage billing (agency remuneration and partner invoicing for assigned accounts).

Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in performance marketing/affiliation.
  • Knowledge of various Affiliation channels and their key publishers (a pre-existing portfolio of publisher contacts and relationships is highly valued).
  • Proficiency in using affiliation platform and/or publisher interfaces, as well as Adserver, tracking, analytics, and statistics management tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills to draw relevant insights and formulate impactful recommendations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with clients, demonstrating listening abilities and a good understanding of their needs, with a pedagogical approach.
  • Negotiation skills to identify business opportunities effectively. Leadership and collaborative spirit to align the network with client objectives.
  • Strong teamwork skills, maximizing exchanges with colleagues for information sharing and expressing needs for project development.
  • Perseverance and a positive attitude in the face of challenges.
  • Good level of English (reading/writing/speaking) is a plus.
