Overview

The Specialist, Content Designer supports Influential’s client delivery and go-to-market efforts by producing high-quality, platform-ready creator assets and polished presentation materials. This role specializes in adapting and resizing creator content across channels, editing and optimizing creator content for performance and brand alignment, and building clear, visually compelling decks and one-sheets. While strategy and creative direction may be set by Client or Creator leaders, this role owns the design execution, versioning accuracy, and visual consistency that ensure assets are client-ready, creator-ready, and delivered on time.

Description

The Specialist, Content Designer reports to the VP, Creative Operations and is accountable for the consistent production and refinement of digital assets across influencer, social, and marketing workflows. This role ensures content is adapted correctly for each platform (IG, TikTok, YouTube, paid placements, email, web), aligns with brand guidelines, and meets quality standards for readability, engagement, and performance.

Partnering closely with Client Management, Creator Management, Creative Strategy, Performance Media, and Strategy & Analytics, this role translates inputs (briefs, creative direction, brand guidelines, creator raw files, campaign results) into clean deliverables, including resized assets, short-form edits, text overlays, and motion/caption treatments. This role it enables the campaign execution teams to move faster and present more consistently through high-quality design production and content readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Own design execution and production of multi-format creator assets, including resizing and adapting content for social, paid, email, and web placements.
  • Edit and optimize creator content (video and images) to align with brand guidelines, platform best practices, and campaign requirements.
  • Create short-form video cuts (trim, captions, basic motion/overlays, visual enhancements) for IG Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Maintain visual consistency across campaigns by applying brand standards, templates, typography, and layout best practices.
  • Produce one-sheets, case studies, and marketing collateral that communicate campaign value and results succinctly and professionally.
  • Manage version control and asset organization (multiple sizes, iterations, and feedback rounds) while meeting fast-turn deadlines.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to clarify requirements, incorporate feedback efficiently, and ensure assets are approved and delivered on schedule.
  • Occasionally support design and build high-quality presentation decks (internal) with strong visual hierarchy and clear storytelling.
  • Stay current on platform trends and evolving creative best practices to continuously improve output quality and relevance.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in digital design within advertising, social, influencer marketing, or a fast-paced creative environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and/or Figma.
  • Strong short-form video editing skills and familiarity with platform-specific creative best practices (TikTok, Reels, Shorts).
  • Expertise in building PowerPoint and/or Google Slides decks with strong visual storytelling and polish.
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and brand systems.
  • High attention to detail, strong organization, and comfort managing multiple priorities and quick turnarounds.
  • Ability to operate in an evolving environment, creating structure and process where needed.
