Administration Assistant - Public Sector People
Public Sector People are partnering with a local government organisation to recruit for an Administration Assistant.
Contract: 3 - 6 months | Immediate Start
Hourly Pay Rate: $45 p/h + Super
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to Council staff, including correspondence management, data entry, filing, and document preparation.
- Coordinate and support meetings by preparing agendas, taking minutes where required, and completing follow-up actions.
- Respond to internal and external enquiries in a professional and timely manner, ensuring excellent customer service standards.
- Maintain accurate records and information in accordance with Council policies, legislative requirements, and records management standards.
- Assist with general office operations, including scheduling, reporting, and supporting projects across departments as required.
Essential
- 2+ years experience in an administration support role within local government or working in a politically sensitive environment.
- Previous experience with TechOne, Content Manager/TRIM, Authority or Pathway highly regarded.
