Overview

The Specialty Courts Clinical Evaluator Case Manager at Public Health Management Corporation provides case management and behavioral health screenings for participants in the Accelerated Misdemeanor Program (AMP) and other related court programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide case management services to chemically dependent participants involved in the criminal justice system.
  • Complete social determinants of health and behavioral health screenings for referrals to treatment and social services.
  • Coordinate resources, monitor participant attendance, and support behavioral health programs.
  • Travel to various police districts, family courts, and criminal justice centers in Philadelphia.
  • Conduct face-to-face and virtual evaluations for participants in Family, Juvenile, and Domestic Violence Courts.
  • Support emergency or last-minute needs for identified programs.
  • Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and make appropriate referrals for community-based treatments.
  • Maintain detailed records and produce progress and monthly data reports.
  • Coordinate with court personnel, legal teams, and behavioral health providers.

Skills & Requirements

  • ASAM certification required.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral health services and Philadelphia social service programs.
  • Excellent public speaking, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Experience in behavioral health and criminal justice systems preferred.

Experience & Education

  • Minimum of two years of professional experience within the criminal justice system.
  • Experience in assessment/evaluation and case management services preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, education or related field is preferred.
