The Opportunity
PCG’s Education Consulting service line seeks a Grades 9-10 ELA Curriculum Writer with a focus on multilingual learners for a curriculum project in a large school district. The role involves developing daily lessons and ancillary materials, ensuring alignment with the Georgia Standards of Excellence and embedding support for multilingual learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop/revise content for Grade 9 and/or Grade 10 ELA courses.
- Create daily lessons and ancillary instructional materials.
- Incorporate multimedia supports for multilingual learners.
- Collaborate with other curriculum writers and PCG leadership.
- Adhere to provided timelines and client feedback.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
- Experience teaching diverse ELA classrooms.
- Strong content knowledge with curriculum development experience.
- Familiarity with digital instructional design and Google Drive.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Project Details
This remote role begins immediately (October 2025) and runs through March 2026, with approximately 135 hours each month. Occasional travel or in-person meetings may be required.
