Role Summary

The Consultant, Education Strategies will work with senior education leaders in the K-12 sector. The role involves strategic planning, project management, and operational support including thought partnership, data analysis, stakeholder engagement and client deliverables.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in organizational analysis projects for school districts and state education agencies.
  • Create work and stakeholder engagement plans independently.
  • Manage project workstreams and develop client deliverables.
  • Identify requirements from key stakeholders and facilitate client discussions.
  • Conduct on-site data collection, research, and analysis to support client recommendations.
  • Evaluate programs, analyze federal and state regulations, and provide technical assistance.
  • Manage small projects, delegate tasks, and mentor team members.
  • Lead proposal teams and prepare written reports and materials.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree (MPA or government focused MBA) preferred with 5+ years of relevant experience. Experience in education or education policy is strongly preferred.

Working Conditions

This is a remote position with some travel required.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation varies based on location, role, skill set, and experience. The range is approximately $66,600-$90,000 along with a comprehensive suite of benefits including medical, dental, 401k, PTO, parental leave, and bereavement leave.
