Job Description
Help Desk Technician
We are seeking a Help Desk Technician to join our team at PT Union Sampoerna Triputra Persada. This is an on-site, part-time role focused on providing technical support and maintaining IT systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Manage user accounts and access permissions.
- Document technical issues and resolutions.
- Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff.
- Assist with IT inventory management and procurement.
- Contribute to the development of IT support documentation and knowledge base.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Help Desk Technician or similar role.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving common hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Basic understanding of network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Part-time, on-site availability in Bengaluru.
- Educational background in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
