Job Description

About Prueba Cybersecurity

Prueba is a dedicated Danish-owned cybersecurity company with roots in Jutland, featuring offices in Esbjerg and Odense. Since 2016, we have assisted both Danish and international companies in enhancing their security posture and increasing their resilience against cyberattacks. Our name, Prueba, is Spanish for 'test', reflecting our mission to challenge companies' cybersecurity to identify areas for improvement. As impartial experts, our focus is squarely on our clients' needs. Our team comprises some of Denmark's most skilled and experienced cybersecurity professionals.

Our specialized teams include:

  • Offensive Team (Red Team): This team tests companies' physical and digital security, simulating threat actors (hackers) to assess potential impacts on operations and finances.
  • Defensive Team (Blue Team): This team helps companies build resilience and advises on measures to improve security. They also provide monitoring of IT systems and suspicious behavior, enabling quick and effective response to security incidents.
  • C-level Advisory Team: This team supports companies' financial and strategic goals, ensuring decisions are well-informed and security strategy is integrated at the top management level, translating policies into practical procedures.

Role Overview: Cyber Threat Intelligence Specialist

We are seeking a Cyber Threat Intelligence Specialist to join our defensive team, specifically within our Cyber Defence Center (CDC).

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring CDC customer environments and managing alarms.
  • Handling and advising customers on potential vulnerabilities and security concerns.
  • Monitoring and managing internal alarms and security incidents.
  • Conducting threat hunting activities and intelligence gathering.
  • Analyzing newly identified vulnerabilities and security threats.
  • Performing QA work on external security deliverables.
  • Maintaining existing CDC tools and developing new capabilities.
  • Participating in Incident Response efforts collaboratively with the team.
  • Contributing to the management of internal IT systems.
  • Engaging in an on-call rotation schedule with colleagues.

Work Location

We have offices in Esbjerg and Odense, and you will be based at one of these two locations. While remote work is possible, we expect you to enjoy coming into the office most days of the week to collaborate with your team.

Your Profile

You possess substantial experience in IT operations and/or IT security, with the above responsibilities being familiar to you. Prior experience as a consultant in customer-facing roles is a significant advantage. You understand that your knowledge, experience, and the security it provides our customers are the value we deliver. Experience with time registration is expected to ensure accurate documentation for our client work. Prueba dedicates weekly time for competency development, offering you opportunities to enhance your expertise and explore new areas. It is crucial that you can work independently while also recognizing when to seek collaboration with colleagues, and you should enjoy social interaction with your team in the office.

Finally, you must be able to independently engage in dialogue with our customers regarding potential issues and their solutions. A clean criminal record is required upon employment, and your work with our customers may also necessitate obtaining and maintaining a security clearance. You should reside in Funen (Fyn) or Jutland (Jylland) and be within a one-hour commute of one of our offices. Fluency in spoken and written Danish is essential, along with professional English communication skills, including the ability to produce written reports.
