The Role

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will build modern and scalable web applications using Node.js and Nest.js. Work closely with backend teams and designers to create robust and intuitive user experiences in a long-term, full-time remote role.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of Node.js experience and 3+ years with Nest.js
  • Expertise in building REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
  • Experience with relational/NoSQL databases and authentication mechanisms
  • Proficiency with Git and testing tools such as Jest or Mocha

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Understanding of event-driven architecture and message brokers
  • Experience with Docker and containerized applications
  • Knowledge of microservices and serverless architectures

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust, scalable backend applications using Node.js and Nest.js
  • Implement RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and microservices architectures
  • Optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Integrate with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and external services
  • Ensure code quality, security, and industry compliance
