The Role:

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to design, prototype, and implement internal AI-powered tools for one of our clients. You will be architecting a secure, scalable M&A origination and tracking engine integrated directly into the Microsoft Copilot workflow. You will be responsible for transforming how the analysts search, extract, and synthesize data from massive internal repositories into actionable reports. This is a unique opportunity to apply cutting-edge AI directly to the highest level of corporate strategy.

What we are looking for:

• Core Platform: Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Microsoft Graph API.
• M365 Integration: Proven experience with deep integrations across SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and OneNote.
• Document Intelligence: Hands-on experience with document parsing (PDF, PPTX, XLSX) and programmatic document generation/Open XML.
• AI/LLM Logic: Strong familiarity with RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation), vector stores, and LLM-based document QA.
• Backend Engineering: Solid skills in building scalable APIs, connectors, and handling complex Azure AD authentication/permissions.
• Proven track record of building production-grade internal tools for knowledge discovery.
• Experience in a "Security-First" environment (Azure/Microsoft identity best practices).
• Ability to reconcile inconsistent information and implement document-aware reasoning.
• Intermediate-advanced English level.
• Time zone: CET (+/- 3 hours). We are unable to consider applications from candidates in other time zones.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Prior experience with M&A workflows, deal origination systems, or financial modeling tools.

Responsibilities:

• Architecture & Design: Collaborate with Strategy and IT teams to design a secure, permission-aware architecture leveraging Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft Graph.
• Template Pre-population Engine: Build an automated engine that synthesizes content from SharePoint and external sources to auto-populate team templates (PPTX, DOCX, XLSX).
• Copilot Extension Development: Implement an AI-driven search layer that queries internal drives and returns structured, document-aware answers with source citations.
• Data Enrichment: Integrate licensed APIs (e.g., PitchBook) and public web data to enrich internal findings via configurable ingestion rules.
• Security & Governance: Ensure 100% compliance with M365 security patterns, no sensitive data leaves the secure environment.
• End-to-End Delivery: From production-ready code and deployment pipelines to operational runbooks and stakeholder training.
