Job Summary

As a Software Engineer, Java at Prove, you will design and develop our digital identity infrastructure. You will use cutting edge technology to deliver strategic, scalable, and efficient software and data solutions while collaborating cross-functionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code and perform code reviews.
• Develop core data platform services with focus on scalability and efficiency.
• Streamline integration of Prove services and data providers.
• Exercise creative thinking to solve complex problems.
• Promote and enhance our cultural values of humility, passion, inclusion, and leadership.

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of software development experience.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and professional Java experience.
• Experience with AWS technologies such as S3, SQS, EKS, and RDS.
• Commitment to Prove’s cultural values.
• Passion for continual learning about our products and markets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in computer science or a related quantitative field.
• Experience architecting and developing solutions to complex problems.
• Knowledge of database internals, SQL, GraphQL, and NoSQL technologies.
• Experience in high growth or pre-IPO technology companies.

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this role is $140,000 to $155,000 plus variable commission/company bonus. Benefits include competitive salaries, bonus plans, equity, comprehensive health benefits, 401(k) or local pension options, unlimited vacation and flexible hours, wellness programs, and various on-site perks.
