Job Description
Operations Manager at Prosana
Are you ready to take the reins of a category-defining beauty brand and turn rapid growth momentum into a finely-tuned machine? Prosana, a fast-growing, digital-first powerhouse in the anti-aging and wellness space, is already operating at a significant 8-figure scale. They are now looking for an integrator who can translate high-level vision into departmental reality.
Your mission as Operations Manager is to liberate the leadership team from day-to-day oversight by taking full ownership of internal systems, cross-departmental communication, and accountability frameworks.
Who Prosana Is
Born from a passion for results-driven Korean skincare, Prosana was created to make elite Korean formulations accessible without premium price markups or difficult international sourcing. They are a modern, digital-first DTC powerhouse focused on simple routines and high-performance ingredients that support the skin barrier.
How the Team Operates:
- Ownership-driven: People are accountable for outcomes, not just tasks.
- Execution-focused: Systems, clarity, and follow-through matter.
- Low ego, high standards: Direct communication and clear expectations.
- Remote-first: Output and reliability matter more than hours logged.
This is a full-time, remote contractor role.
What’s In It For You
- Real Autonomy: Shape systems from the ground up, not stepping into a rigid hierarchy.
- Direct Leadership Exposure: Work directly with leadership, gaining a front-row seat to strategic decisions and 9-figure scaling maneuvers.
- Clear Growth Path: This role is designed to evolve into a Head of Operations or Chief of Staff position as the company continues its rapid expansion.
- Remote, Output-Driven Culture: Enjoy freedom in a fully remote role within a team that prioritizes output over hours and values extreme ownership.
What You’re Getting Into
You will be responsible for:
- Process Ownership: Auditing and enforcing SOPs across all departments to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce founder dependency.
- Visibility & Accountability: Implementing centralized tracking systems to ensure every employee and department hits their milestones.
- Cross-functional Execution: Acting as the traffic controller for major initiatives, bridging creative, marketing, and logistics teams for seamless product launches and campaigns.
- Communication Alignment: Serving as the main point of contact between teams, aligning weekly priorities for Growth, Creative, and Customer Support, and standardizing internal communication rhythms.
- Performance Culture: Leading performance reviews and fostering a culture of high ownership and fulfillment across the remote team.
Who You Are
- You have 3+ years of experience in operations or project management, ideally within a fast-paced DTC or E-commerce environment.
- You are proficient in using Clickup, Notion, and Slack, and know how to structure them to drive team behavior and transparency.
- You have automation experience with Zapier / n8n, Make and have built SOPs from scratch.
- You don't just manage; you build frameworks that hold people to high standards and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- You have a natural talent for taking complex, messy ideas and breaking them down into simple, repeatable, and documented processes.
- You are a proactive, exceptional communicator who identifies gaps and bridges them immediately without waiting for permission.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience scaling a DTC brand from $10M to $50M+ in revenue.
- Experience in the beauty, skincare, health, or wellness industry.
What to Expect from the Recruitment Process
- Intro Chat: A short conversation to discuss your background, portfolio, and career aspirations.
- Team Interview: A call with the team to assess mutual fit, ways of working, and expectations.
