Role Overview: Software Development Engineer II

As a Software Development Engineer II on the WFOS Engineering team, you will contribute to developing web and mobile applications through regular releases, unit testing, and collaborative coding practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ship code and deliver functional features.
  • Participate in Agile and Scrum ceremonies.
  • Design and implement new features for web and mobile applications using technologies such as Typescript, ExpressJs, Node, C#, .Net Core, Entity Framework, and AWS.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews prior to testing or production deployment.
  • Contribute to detailed product documentation including architecture diagrams and process flows.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Over 5 years of experience in software development.
  • Proven experience developing RESTful APIs.
  • Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new libraries, frameworks, and technologies.
  • Strong self-starter and team player with excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Experience with AWS and Container technologies is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
