About the Role
We're looking for a Data Analyst / Technical Documentation Specialist to help translate Prophecy's rapidly evolving product capabilities into clear, high-quality documentation. In this role, you will act as a bridge between product, engineering, and end users. You'll work hands-on with new features as they're released, develop a deep understanding of how they function, communicate with product developers and product managers and turn that knowledge into structured insights for documentation.
Practically speaking, you will:
- Test and explore new Prophecy features as they launch.
- Take detailed, structured notes on functionality, workflows, and edge cases.
- Partner closely with product developers and product managers to ask clarifying questions.
- Produce clear, complete, and well-organized notes on how features work, including workflows, inputs/outputs, and edge cases.
- Feed structured knowledge into an AI-driven system to generate high-quality documentation like that found at https://docs.prophecy.ai/.
This is a highly iterative, fast-paced role that combines product exploration, technical curiosity, and structured thinking. No formal writing skills are required.
Ideally, You Would Have
Experience
- 2+ years in data analytics, data engineering, data prep, ETL, or business analytics
- Hands-on experience working with data tools, pipelines, or analytical workflows
