Job Description
About Proof
Proof is a legal tech company operating in one of the fastest-moving spaces for technology. Each month, thousands of law firms rely on us to manage legal document delivery at scale. As we grow toward $100M+ ARR, we are actively building the platform capabilities that power our largest customers and expanding into new product lines.
About the Role
We are looking for a Product Manager, Platform & Services to lead our platform team. This team is responsible for how our largest customers integrate their work into Proof and how we scale to support them. Key areas include data transformation, workflow automation, and the integrations that connect enterprise law firms to our platform.
Reporting directly to the VP of Product, you will own the product surface that serves some of our most strategic accounts. This role offers significant scope, placing you at the center of both operations and Go-To-Market (GTM) decision-making, with direct exposure to customers and leadership. If you seek ownership over critical outcomes, not just feature building, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- New services expansion: Own the roadmap for services such as court filing and mailing, partnering with the Go-To-Market team to onboard firms and scale offerings across various markets.
- Enterprise integrations: Build robust systems for data exchange, real-time updates, and workflow automation, enabling large law firms to seamlessly connect their operations to the Proof platform. This area is anticipated for significant growth.
- Core platform: Manage foundational systems including billing infrastructure, permissions, and other essential components upon which the rest of the company builds.
What You'll Do
- Sit at the nexus of operations and go-to-market to strategize scaling solutions for our largest accounts.
- Engage directly with customers and key stakeholders to comprehend complex workflows and translate them into actionable product initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to architect systems that effectively bridge diverse technical environments.
- Navigate intricate billing scenarios across multiple states and varying pricing models.
- Strategically balance the introduction of new capabilities with maintaining the reliability of mission-critical systems.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of product management experience.
- Technical comfort: Ability to discuss API design, data flows, and system architecture with engineers.
- Systems thinking: Capacity to reason about how components fit together and design for scale.
- Experience with integration-heavy products or platforms.
- Familiarity with bulk data processing, file-based workflows, or electronic data exchange.
- Comfort with ambiguous problems and messy data: Ability to navigate complexity without perfect inputs.
- Strong communication skills across technical and business teams to translate complex customer requirements into clear product specifications.
Nice to Have
- SQL or other data skills.
- Experience using AI tools for prototyping or accelerating workflows.
- Legal tech or marketplace experience.
- Background in billing, payments, or financial operations.
- Experience with low-code/no-code tools.
Benefits & Compensation
This is a full-time, salary position, fully remote within Canada. We offer flexible time off, holidays, and equipment. A comprehensive benefits package includes healthcare, dental, and disability insurance. Compensation ranges from 135,000 - 185,000 CAD based on experience and location, with eligibility to participate in the company bonus plan. Must be located in Canada.
