Job Description

Role: Sr. DevOps Engineer

This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, managing AWS infrastructure, and developing automation scripts to streamline operational workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure for scalability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop automation scripts using shell scripting and other programming languages.
  • Collaborate with Development, QA, and Operations teams for seamless deployments.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
  • Implement configuration management and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Document processes and systems to ensure operational consistency.
  • Perform ongoing maintenance and upgrades for production and non-production environments.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years experience in DevOps or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation).
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins pipelines (declarative and scripted).
  • Strong scripting skills in shell scripting or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
  • Experience with Git and Git-based workflows.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools like CloudWatch or Prometheus.
  • Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and CDK in AWS DevOps.
