Job Overview: UX Design Intern

We are seeking a passionate and creative UX Design Intern to join our dynamic team. This hands-on internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to real-world projects and design user-centered products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, gaining invaluable experience within a fast-paced and innovative environment. This is an 8-week internship starting June 15th, offering a pay rate of $17.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research through various methods including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
• Analyze research findings to pinpoint user pain points and identify opportunities for product enhancement.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design concepts and ideas.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to refine and implement designs.
• Assist in the maintenance and updating of design systems and style guides.
• Stay current with emerging UX trends and best practices within the industry.

Qualification Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a closely related field.
• Possess a basic understanding of design principles and proficiency with design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Provide a portfolio showcasing your UX design projects, which can include academic or personal work.
• Bonus qualifications: Familiarity with user research methods or tools, basic HTML/CSS knowledge, or prior experience with design systems.
