About the role
About the Role
The PMIxAI Organizational Lead will have a high-impact role that helps drive global adoption and growth of PMI’s AI offerings across businesses and government sectors. This role strengthens PMI’s position to continue to lead the AI transformation of project management and the project management of AI transformations by partnering with internal teams and external stakeholders to expand visibility and engagement for products and certifications within our AI portfolio, globally.
This role requires strong subject matter expertise with excellent communication and presentation abilities, and a passion for helping project professionals understand and adopt AI responsibly and effectively.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
- 5+ years of experience in AI, technology strategy, product advisory, innovation, or a related domain.
- Demonstrated ability to speak confidently and compellingly to decision makers, key stakeholders, and executives.
- Experience translating complex technical concepts into accessible explanations for practitioners.
- Knowledge of selling in government environments is a plus.
- Background in project delivery, change management, or adjacent fields is an advantage.
- Deep understanding of AI concepts, emerging practices, and their implications for project management.
- CPMAI/PMI-CPMAI certification is a big plus.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Comfortable and productive working in a virtual environment, engaging with global audiences and tailoring messages accordingly.
- Familiarity with the B2B sales lifecycle.
- Awareness of competitive landscape and emerging market trends in AI.
- Strong customer insight skills, with the ability to identify pain points and map AI capabilities to client objectives.
