Dental Hygienist at Project HOME

Join Project HOME, a nationally recognized nonprofit dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty and homelessness. Our healthcare team provides compassionate, high-quality care to individuals who might otherwise go without treatment. We are seeking a mission-driven Dental Hygienist who is passionate about clinical excellence, public health dentistry, and serving a diverse community. Location and Schedule

Location: Stephen Klein Wellness Center – Philadelphia, PA

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Compensation: $77,000-$90,000/year ($37-$43/hr), based on experience

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate and promote patients' oral health with professionalism and care
  • Perform cleanings, periodontal scaling, fluoride treatments, sealants, and local anesthesia
  • Capture and mount digital radiographs
  • Educate patients on hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records (ECW experience a plus)
  • Provide compassionate service to a diverse patient population

What You Bring

  • Current PA Registered Dental Hygienist license
  • Local Anesthesia Permit
  • CPR (BLS) certification

What You May Bring

  • Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner (PHDHP) Permit
  • Experience working with underserved populations
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW) or similar electronic health record systems
