About the Role
As a Legal Business Systems Consultant on the Legal Systems team at Progressive, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Corporate Legal business area. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering new systems, optimizing existing platforms, and ensuring robust ongoing support. You will focus on modernizing the technology solutions that our attorneys and legal professionals depend on to meet evolving business needs.
Additionally, you will serve as a vital liaison, bridging communication and collaboration between business areas, external vendors, and internal partners in Legal Operations and IT. Your efforts will ensure that Progressive continuously enhances the value derived from its technology investments.
This is a remote position, though occasional travel to Cleveland will be required for meetings and/or training.
Must-have Qualifications
- A minimum of eight years of experience in business systems, covering areas such as systems integration, implementing technology solutions, project management, process design and optimization, testing and troubleshooting systems, training and supporting users, ensuring compliance and security, and gathering and documenting requirements.

- A Bachelor's degree or higher combined with a minimum of five years of experience in business systems, encompassing areas like systems integration, implementing technology solutions, project management, process design and optimization, testing and troubleshooting systems, training and supporting users, ensuring compliance and security, and gathering and documenting requirements.
Preferred Skills
- Experience implementing Software as a Service (SaaS) systems, coupled with advanced knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in risk identification and management, business and technology process analysis, and sponsor management.
- Experience overseeing the requirements life cycle, which includes gathering and prioritizing business needs, ensuring traceability, and coordinating effective change management.
- Clear and persuasive communication skills, with the ability to set clear expectations and effectively share information with colleagues, sponsors, and leaders at all levels.
- Solid project management and organizational skills, including the ability to multitask, establish priorities, and drive open items to successful completion.
Compensation & Benefits
This role offers an annual salary range of $81,400 - $108,500, supplemented by an annual cash incentive payment (Gainshare) of up to 30% of your eligible earnings, based on company performance.
