Job Summary
As an IT Systems Analyst at Progressive, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the Commercial Lines Business Owner Policy (BOP) footprint. You will contribute to developing and maintaining key features, collaborating with various teams to transform business requests into clear functional and technical requirements. Your influence will extend to shaping the delivery approach for new systems and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requests into functional and technical requirements for the Commercial Lines BOP team.
- Influence the delivery approach for new systems and system enhancements.
- Create moderately complex artifacts, including documentation, data flow diagrams, and context diagrams.
- Support the design, development, and implementation of new systems and enhancements.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve business and technical challenges within system designs.
Qualifications
Must-have Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Math, Information Systems, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of four years of experience designing, developing, programming, and/or supporting IT Systems and applications.
- Alternatively, a minimum of six years of related work experience designing, developing, programming, and/or supporting IT Systems and applications may be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience gathering IT requirements for policy lifecycle (Quoting/Servicing a policy), billing, and/or payments.
- Proficiency in Azure Dev Ops (AzDO) and experience working in an Agile/Scrum team environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers on technical features.
- Experience presenting and working with Senior IT Leaders, Business Partners, other Platforms, and vendors.
- Experience with relational databases, specifically SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
- Knowledge of API development or delivery, enterprise security standards, Splunk, and/or AppDynamics.
Compensation and Benefits
This role offers an annual compensation range of $107,550-$131,200, dependent on position level and experience. Employees are also eligible for a Gainshare annual cash incentive payment of up to 30% of eligible earnings, based on company performance.
