About the Role: Forensic & eDiscovery Analyst Senior at Progressive Insurance

As a Forensic & eDiscovery Analyst Senior within Progressive's Corporate Internal Investigation organization, you will serve as a technical expert in digital forensics and eDiscovery. Your role will specialize in the identification, preservation, recovery, and analysis of electronically stored information (ESI) to support litigation, regulatory audits, and critical internal investigations.

You will perform hands-on forensic tasks, including recovering deleted data, analyzing metadata, and ensuring the integrity and defensibility of digital evidence. Collaboration with legal teams, IT, and external vendors will be crucial for implementing technical discovery plans, conducting thorough forensic investigations, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory standards. Ultimately, you will deliver actionable insights through detailed reports and be prepared to provide expert testimony when required.

This position allows for remote work.

Must-have Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years related work experience in digital forensics, eDiscovery, or cyber investigations.
  • OR
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Criminal Justice, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years related work experience in digital forensics, eDiscovery, or cyber investigations.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in forensic and eDiscovery software such as Axiom Cyber, Relativity, Exterro, and Purview.
  • Strong knowledge of forensic methodologies, metadata, data formats (e.g., PST, EML, NSF), and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).
  • Expertise in digital evidence handling, legal hold protocols, and defensible preservation practices.
  • Ability to manage large datasets, coordinate eDiscovery projects, and prioritize scheduling, achievements, and deliverables.
  • Proven ability to operate independently, think critically, and proactively find opportunities beyond assigned tasks, with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively and get results.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from $98,400 to $131,200. Additionally, you may receive a Gainshare annual cash incentive payment of up to 30% of your eligible earnings, based on company performance.
