About the Role

The Senior Manager, Revenue & Technical Accounting at ProducePay is responsible for leading the planning, analysis, and optimization of billing, AR, revenue streams, and technical accounting policies, ensuring GAAP compliance across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • AR & Revenue Reporting: Oversee billing, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, variance analysis, and providing insights.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with RevOps, Finance, FP&A, Operations and Legal for alignment of revenue strategies.
  • Revenue Optimization: Implement strategies to optimize revenue recognition timeliness and accuracy using data analysis.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate and enhance billing, AR management, revenue, and technical accounting systems.
  • Timely O2C Close: Manage accurate reconciliations and reporting for Order-to-Cash cycle close.
  • Technical Accounting: Stay updated on FASB pronouncements, assess accounting implications for commercial arrangements, and ensure GAAP compliance.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of revenue and AR analysts.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field is required; a master’s degree or certifications (CPA, etc.) are strongly preferred. Minimum 7 years of experience in revenue management/technical accounting with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Experience in AgTech, FinTech, or SaaS industries is a plus.
  • High-growth startup or PEG environment experience preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and revenue management software (NetSuite, SFDC) is required.
  • Expertise in complex billing, AR, and revenue optimization techniques.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
