Our mission is to save 1 BILLION construction admin hours. We achieve this with market-leading technology that helps major builders contract with their supply chain, consolidating fragmented and manual procurement processes (currently solved by Word, Excel & email) into a single, powerful platform.

Key Aspects of this Head of Finance Role
The current tech stack includes Xero (accounting), Airwallex (Int banking, expense management), Jirav (FP&A), Maxio (Rev Rec), and QuotaPath (commissions management).
- Own the financial health of the business: Hold full accountability for forecasting, budgeting, cash/burn, and capital efficiency, making clear calls on when to invest and when to protect.
- Scaling the finance function: Design the reporting infrastructure, tooling, and systems, biasing towards tools over manual spreadsheets. Leverage AI as much as possible.
- Be a strategic growth partner: Go beyond budgeting and forecasting to actively shape how the business grows, providing financial intelligence, managing budgets, defining pricing strategy, guiding market investment, and making commercial trade-offs with the CEO and leadership team.
- Drive business operating rhythms: Own board-quality KPI packs, influence leadership review cadences, and anticipate financial signals before others see them. Increase overall financial literacy within the business and among leaders.
- Data-driven to the core: Establish a single source of truth for accurate, timely data and a single reference point.
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure compliance and risk management across all operating countries.
Ideal Candidate Profile
You are ideal for the Head of Finance role if you possess:
- SaaS scale-up finance experience (essential): You've held a senior finance, controller, or FP&A role in a B2B SaaS business, ideally seeing scale through $20M–$100M ARR, and understand best practices at each stage.
- A builder's mentality: You've built a lean finance function, knowing what to prioritize, automate, and outsource before hiring.
- Genuine AI and digital fluency: You actively use finance-specific AI for modeling, querying, and automation, and can configure software and integrations yourself.
- Strong commercial and strategic instincts: You've influenced pricing, shaped market investment decisions, and helped leadership teams make faster, smarter growth decisions.
- Multi-jurisdictional and Board-level credibility: You've managed compliance across multiple countries and clearly communicated financial realities to senior leaders and Boards.

Compensation
Salary is based on experience and market rates, complemented by a computer equipment allowance.

What Happens Next
Shortlisted applicants will have an introductory call (~20 mins), followed by a longer call to discuss experience and the role in detail (~1 hour). You'll then complete a short assessment (~2 hours) and present/discuss it (~1.5 hours). Successful candidates will proceed to reference checks and receive an offer.
