Job Description

Senior Media Manager

Are you passionate about working on iconic brands like Ariel, Pampers, Gillette, Head & Shoulders, or Oral‑B?

As a Senior Media Manager, you will play a key role in defining and driving the media strategy for leading brands in a dynamic consumer goods environment. This position offers end-to-end responsibility, from strategic thinking to execution, strong cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to manage and develop talent while maximizing media efficiency and innovation. You will work in a dynamic and respectful environment that values continuous learning, accountability, and impact.

Our Senior Media Manager role is a unique opportunity to gain in-depth insight into the world of communication within a consumer goods company and benefit from:

  • Responsibility from day one – You will have full ownership of your projects from the start and work on very concrete assignments.
  • Continuous mentorship – We work with passionate individuals and offer both formal training and day-to-day support. Your interactions with Brand Managers will be essential in this regard.
  • A dynamic and respectful work environment – Our employees are at the heart of everything we do. We value each individual and encourage initiatives, fostering agility and work-life balance.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO P&G'S SUCCESS

As a Senior Media Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Defining and driving the media strategy and plans (TV, digital, and other channels) for one or more brands in the category, aligned with business objectives and within allocated budgets, leveraging market trends and consumer insights.
  • Collaborating closely with Marketing and Sales teams to understand brand strategies and translate them into effective, consumer-centric media plans.
  • Managing and developing the digital media team, with direct management of the Digital Media Manager: defining the work plan, coaching, and supporting career development.
  • Coordinating internal teams and partner agencies to ensure smooth, high-quality implementation of media strategies across all touchpoints, acting as the primary contact for Publicis/Starcom for non-digital campaigns.
  • Continuously monitoring and optimizing campaign performance, adjusting media strategies to maximize impact and effectiveness.
  • Driving media innovation to stay ahead of the competition by staying connected to industry trends and consumer evolutions, and by defining and leading the category's learning agenda in partnership with internal experts.
  • Ensuring sound financial management of the category (stewardship), by rigorously tracking budgets, maintaining financial discipline, and fully adhering to internal processes and governance rules.

Job Qualifications

YOU ARE THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IF YOU HAVE/ARE:

  • Proven experience in strategic media plan management and relevant KPIs within an in-house media team and/or client-side, ideally in both environments.
  • A courageous leader with expertise in digital media and a strong desire for continuous learning. A business-oriented, operational profile with solid technical knowledge of awareness and performance campaigns, placing the consumer at the heart of decisions.
  • An innovative and entrepreneurial spirit: the ability to be focused and decisive, take risks when necessary, create creative connections, experiment, and push boundaries.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to navigate a matrix organization, influence, and build strong relationships internally and externally to drive projects forward.
  • Good knowledge of the French media landscape, including digital media ('walled gardens' and/or programmatic). Knowledge of offline media would be a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in French and English.
  • A minimum of a BAC +5 degree (Master's level or equivalent).

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary, reviewed annually according to market standards and adjusted based on performance and impact, complemented by the STAR program: an annual variable bonus linked to short-term results.
  • Remote work: 1 day per week for the first 6 months, then up to 2 days per week.
  • 25 paid vacation days + 2 bridging days (for a full year).
  • 13 days of RTT (Reduction of Working Time).
  • Company-offered bridging days (3 days per year).
  • Employee savings plan with company matching after 3 months of service.
  • Profit-sharing and employee participation schemes.
  • Health insurance (mandatory, with family coverage).
  • Partial reimbursement of transport passes (55%).
  • Restaurant card (Edenred meal vouchers).
  • On-site company restaurant (at headquarters).
  • Free on-site gym (at headquarters).
