Data Engineer at Procter & Gamble
Procter & Gamble is seeking a passionate Data Engineer to join its industry-leading Data & Analytics team, focusing on Business Units specific deliverables. If you possess the technical acumen to bring data to life and translate abstract business needs into actionable data pipelines and analytics platforms, this role offers a significant opportunity. The Data Engineer will lead the design and implementation of systems and solutions utilizing approved cloud platform components and tools in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, actively coding and adapting solutions for optimal performance.
Responsibilities
- Build robust data & analytics solutions within Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud, crafting technical solutions from approved architecture to acquire, process, store, and provide insights from data.
- Develop within existing designs of various cloud solutions (Azure/GCP) to provide valuable business insights.
- Work on the automation and optimization of internal processes within Azure/GCP environments.
- Influence the future adoption and utilization of new technologies across Procter & Gamble.
- Collaborate effectively with multifunctional and multinational teams, both internal and external to P&G.
- Focus on key business case development within Data & Analytics, leveraging MS Azure/GCP.
- Contribute to agile product development using cloud solutions.
Job Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Python/PySpark and SQL/SparkSQL programming skills.
- Demonstrated experience in Big Data/ETL, with a preference for Spark and Databricks.
- Experience in implementing projects and solutions in cloud environments (Azure/GCP preferred, AWS also considered).
- Knowledge and/or experience with using or building CI/CD tools.
- Familiarity with AAS, DAX, and PowerBI front end.
- Previous experience or understanding of Data Models.
- Knowledge of Agile SCRUM and DevOps methodologies.
- Proficiency in English and a minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
