Software Engineer 2 - Pages Team
Procore is seeking a Software Engineer 2 to join the Pages Team within the Data and AI Division. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role where you will design robust systems, build the canvas-based Pages product and Dataset Editor, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a platform connecting company data to AI agents. The Datagrid Pages and Dataset Editor are crucial for Procore's agentic AI strategy, enabling dashboards, reports, and interactive charts.

Role Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the runtime and platform for Datagrid Pages and the Dataset Editor using Procore's technology stack (React, Node.js, TypeScript, Ruby).
- Build scalable, canvas-based, and data-bound UIs, including Canvas Charts and table views, for world-class Page and Dataset experiences.
- Explain technical tradeoffs and decisions.
- Follow and help refine development standards.
- Participate in production support, respond to alerts, and improve monitoring and runbooks.
- Support junior developers through pairing and code review.
- Leverage generative tools and agentic workflows for increased efficiency.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience, including Test-Driven Development (TDD) and UI/API development (Ruby/Node/React/TypeScript preferred).
- Experience with or willingness to engage in monitoring, alerts, and production incident response.
- Ability to identify and propose technical improvements with some guidance.
- Proven ability to balance delivery with quality and sustainable practices.
- Experience with or exposure to Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
Additional Information
- This role reports to the Manager, Software Engineering for the Pages team.
- This is a hybrid role based in Austin, TX.
- US citizenship is required for work on FedRAMP-compliant projects. Candidates must be eligible to work on federal government projects requiring FedRAMP authorization.
- Immediate placement is desired.
Compensation
- Base Pay Range: $113,040.00 - $155,430.00 USD Annually.
- This role may also be eligible for Equity Compensation and/or Bonus Incentive Compensation.
- Actual compensation will be based on job-related skills, experience, education, training, and location.
