About the Role
Procore is looking for a Director, Finance Risk and Compliance to join our Finance team. In this role, you will create a new function focused on improving our SOX compliance program, implementing controls to support new business initiatives, remediating deficiencies, and driving SOX audit results. This is a management position representing the Finance organization, not an auditor role.
Responsibilities
- Drive evolution of the SOX compliance program through improved internal controls.
- Support and advise business partners with SOX risk and control assessments.
- Assist in SOX control deficiency assessments and remediation efforts.
- Improve control processes through automation and consolidation.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to manage risk.
- Prepare comprehensive SOX compliance reports for senior management.
- Manage medium to complex cross functional SOX IT and financial risk projects.
Qualifications
Required experience includes 9+ years with SOX, internal controls, accounting, and business process improvement, along with significant experience as an auditor or compliance leader at a public company. Prior Big 4 experience is preferred. The role requires strong autonomy, risk assessment skills, and effective cross-functional collaboration.
Additional Information
This role offers a base pay range of $154,800 - $212,850, with bonus and equity opportunities. Procore offers comprehensive benefits including paid time off, healthcare coverage, and career development resources.
