In this role, you will support various HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor regulations. This position requires detail orientation, proactive work habits, and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) is required. Minimum 2 years of HR experience, preferably in government contracting or consulting. Candidates should have strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, excellent communication skills, proficiency with HR systems (ADP, benefits platforms, onboarding tools), and the ability to manage multiple workflows. HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage weekly new hire onboarding logistics and documentation.
  • Assist with payroll processing, benefits administration, and vendor communications.
  • Handle offboarding processes including exit interviews and access deactivation.
  • Maintain HRIS systems and coordinate background checks and compliance tasks.
  • Administer personnel changes and support compliance reporting efforts.
  • Coordinate internal communications and employee engagement events.
  • Provide administrative support for HR projects and manage vendor relationships.
