Job Scope
This role is for a highly motivated business development professional joining a fast growing European business development team. The position involves navigating both biologics and cell and gene therapy spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop business development strategy and execute for financial goals across EU regions.
- Create country-specific strategies for market penetration and revenue generation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify customer business needs.
- Prospect and establish long-term relationships with CDMO service line customers.
- Provide accurate CRM reporting and competitive analysis.
- Lead financial assessments, due diligence, transaction design, contract negotiations, and deal completions.
- Manage strategic accounts and partnerships, building a professional network with external companies and KOLs.
- Travel up to 50% for customer visits.
Education & Experience
- University degree in life sciences; PhD is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years in business development or related fields in pharmaceutical or CDMO environments.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing large deals.
- Familiarity with the biopharmaceutical ecosystem and deal-making landscape.
- Fluent in English; additional European language preferred.
- EU biotech/Pharma customer network is advantageous.
- Team player with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
