Human Resources Business Partner
Prism Health North Texas is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team in Dallas, TX. General Description
The HRBP will provide expert guidance in talent management, employee relations, organizational development, and workforce planning. You will also lead recruiting efforts to attract, hire, and retain a high-performing, mission-driven workforce within a community healthcare environment.
Specific Responsibilities Of The Job
- Partner with leadership to develop integrated talent strategies, including recruitment, retention, succession planning, and workforce development.
- Develop workforce plans and hiring strategies aligned with organizational growth and patient care needs.
- Identify workforce capability gaps and partner with training and leadership to support development solutions.
- Oversee employee relations, performance management, and terminations in partnership with leadership.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and manage required reporting.
- Manage HR compliance processes, including audits, mandatory training, I-9s, background checks, and employee documentation.
- Oversee benefits administration and vendor coordination.
- Support payroll and accounting with compensation changes, PTO adjustments, and pay issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate HRIS and ATS data.
- Conduct exit interviews, manage offboarding, and ensure compliance with COBRA, unemployment, and final pay processes.
- Analyze and report on HR and talent acquisition metrics to support leadership and board reporting.
- Assist in preparing HR-related data for grant applications and regulatory reviews.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for clinical and non-clinical roles, from requisition intake to offer management.
- Own end-to-end recruitment and hiring outcomes, ensuring successful onboarding and integration of new hires.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies across various channels, including job boards, social media, and community outreach.
- Manage and optimize the applicant tracking system (ATS) to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
- Ensure a positive, equitable, and mission-aligned candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Oversee background checks, drug screenings, and pre-employment compliance processes.
- Build relationships with staffing agencies, educational institutions, and community organizations.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Manage job descriptions, compensation benchmarking, and offer development.
- Support recruitment strategies aligned with HRSA requirements and underserved community workforce needs.
- Partner with credentialing and employee health functions for timely pre-employment clearance and compliance.
- Collaborate on special projects and manage vendor relationships as needed.

Skills & Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of HR laws and core functions (recruitment, performance management, benefits, leave, policy) with emphasis on healthcare or nonprofit compliance.
- Experience supporting full-cycle recruitment, sourcing strategies, and workforce planning.
- Knowledge of clinical and non-clinical healthcare roles, credentialing, and labor market dynamics.
- Ability to balance strategic HR partnership with hands-on recruitment execution.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret HR and recruiting data.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS and ATS systems.
- Maintains confidentiality, adaptability, and sound judgment.
- Ability to travel between work sites as needed; must maintain reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance.
- Demonstrated cultural competence and ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce supporting underserved communities, including LGBTQIA+ populations and individuals with complex health and social needs; comfort working in a mission-driven healthcare environment is required.
Required Education And Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- 4–8 years of progressive HR experience.
- Experience supporting multiple HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, and talent acquisition.
- Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or community-based settings preferred.
- Experience with FQHC operations, HRSA compliance, or grant-funded environments preferred.
- HR Certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) preferred.
