What To Expect as a Part-Time Remote Accounts Payable Specialist

• Enter invoices into bill payment software, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
• Resolve account discrepancies by investigating documentation and making necessary adjustments
• Maintain financial security by adhering to internal accounting controls
• Complete allocations of applicable invoices to various departments
• Reconcile payable GL reports monthly to confirm accuracy and resolve vendor statements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years proven work experience in accounting
• Business or Accounting degree preferred
• Strong organizational and data entry skills
• Proficient in financial software and general math skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare-related accounting role
• Familiarity with 1099 processing and vendor management
• Ability to analyze and process financial information effectively
• Knowledge of internal accounting controls
