About the Cybersecurity and Technology Counsel Opportunity

A Fortune 500 Multinational Food Processing Company is looking for a Cybersecurity and Technology Counsel with 5+ years’ experience for a 3–6 month engagement starting as soon as possible. This work will involve:

  • Supporting SEC 8-K cyber materiality assessments and related public company disclosure analysis
  • Advising on cybersecurity risk and incident response frameworks
  • Helping bridge the gap between IT and Legal on disclosure and risk evaluation
  • Addressing broader technology and data movement issues beyond traditional PI privacy
  • Providing short-term risk mitigation support

Candidates must be able to work part-time for 5–20 hours per week. The work will be performed remotely.

  • Schedule: Part-time
  • Duration: 3-6 month engagement
  • Compensation: $160-190 per hour

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience supporting SEC 8-K cyber materiality assessments and related public company disclosure analysis
  • Ability to advise on cybersecurity risk and incident response frameworks
  • Work to bridge the gap between IT and Legal on disclosure and risk evaluation
  • Ability to address broader technology and data movement issues beyond traditional PI privacy
  • Short-term risk mitigation support

Required Experience

  • The ideal candidate will be able to work 5-20 hours per week.
  • The work will be performed remotely.
  • The Company's preferred pricing model is hourly with a budget of $160 - $190 per hour.
  • The company is open to exploring options outside of that range with the requisite experience.
  • The candidate will be employed through an Employer of Record (W-2) for the duration of this engagement.
