Overview

The Lead Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform, AWS CDK, and other modern technologies. This role involves automating processes, managing pipelines, and ensuring system compliance and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure with Terraform and AWS CDK.
• Automate infrastructure as code to boost operational efficiency.
• Develop, test, and deploy AWS Lambda functions for automated workflows.
• Manage GitHub pipelines and ensure smooth CI/CD integration.
• Administer EKS clusters for containerized and microservices-based applications.
• Enforce security policies and maintain AWS compliance standards.
• Set up IAM systems and manage virtual cloud instances in AWS and Azure.
• Write clean, well-documented Python code for automation tasks.
• Maintain VMware, Linux, and Windows environments within cloud setups.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience) is required. AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional is preferred.

• Proficient in Terraform and AWS CDK.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with GitHub pipelines and CI/CD processes.
• Knowledgeable in VMware, Linux, Windows, and AWS Lambda.
• Familiar with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and API integrations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
