Role Overview

As a Distribution Team Member, you will perform diversified receiving, sorting, storing, picking, staging, value add and distribution duties supporting the operational needs of an integrated Distribution Center. Your hours of work will generally be [DAY - DAY] from [TIME to TIME]. Hours of work will be determined on a mutual basis between you and your leader. These shifts are subject to change with notice in the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meets established receiving / distribution standards of operation.
  • Performs receiving duties including: verifying accuracy of warehouse deliveries, inspecting items for damage or defects, entering information using RF guns and computer systems, unloading inbound trailers, building pallets, sorting and unpacking items, and transporting items to appropriate warehouse locations.
  • Performs distribution duties including: filling pick order requests, packaging or kitting finished product for shipping, and loading requisitioned items into outbound trailers.
  • Learns and utilizes functions of the RF Guns and Warehouse Management Software.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety programs, policies, and practices.
  • Maintains a flexible schedule and works in all areas of distribution as required.
  • Complies with all company policies and communicates effectively with the leadership team.
  • Maintains quality service by following organizational standards.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of warehouse experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Ability to read and perform basic math functions.
  • Skilled in operating warehouse equipment (such as Motorized Pallet Jack, Hi-Reach Truck, Counterbalance, etc.).
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and flow of goods.
  • Willingness to train and operate motorized and manual material handling equipment.
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift/carry 50lbs on a repetitive basis; ability to stand, bend, lift and/or reach for extended periods of time.
