Role Overview - Brand Designer
As a Brand Designer at Primer, you will translate brand guidelines into high-quality creative assets across digital, print, and event channels. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver on-brand campaigns and collateral while owning key brand initiatives, such as website updates, campaign rollouts, and social media content. This role demands creativity, precision, and collaboration to maintain and evolve a consistent brand experience.
Responsibilities
- Translate brand guidelines into creative assets for various channels.
- Partner with marketing, product, and design teams.
- Execute key brand initiatives including website and campaign updates.
- Contribute to evolving and documenting brand systems.
- Identify opportunities to enhance brand presence.
- Balance creativity with speed to deliver on-brief assets.
- Support a consistent brand experience across touchpoints.
- Help build a design culture focused on craft and clarity.
Qualifications
- Strong visual design skills in layout, typography, colour theory, and composition.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and motion design tools.
- Experience in evolving brand systems and translating strategy into creative outcomes.
- Collaborative mindset with experience in cross-functional teams.
- Bonus: Motion design, illustration, 3D design skills, and familiarity with digital UX.
- Experience in finance or regulated industries is a plus.
Interview Process
- 30 minute call with a Talent Partner.
- 45 minute interview with the Hiring Manager.
- Technical interview – take-home task and presentation.
- 60 minute final values-alignment interview.
