About the Role
As a Design Technologist at Prime Video, you will shape the future of entertainment by defining next generation UX concepts through prototyping and hands-on product work. You will collaborate with designers, researchers, PMs, and engineers to bring innovative design ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Build high-quality, functional prototypes to advance product vision
- Collaborate with design leadership and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle
- Work with cross-functional teams from idea to implementation
- Advance design thinking by leveraging platform expertise on web, mobile, and TV
A Day in the Life
You will create prototypes across the Prime Video customer journey, including content discovery and new playback experiences such as X-Ray, live sports, and advertising. Using technologies like HTML/CSS/JS, React.js, Redux, and Motion.js, you will also experiment with AWS Bedrock to develop Gen AI powered experiences.
About the Team
Our team is scrappy, detail-oriented, and collaborative. We balance speed and precision, demoing prototypes to senior leadership and working closely with UX researchers and engineering partners.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years in front-end technology, engineering, or UX prototyping
- Available online portfolio with coding samples
- Experience in web, mobile web, or mobile app development
- UI design experience for complex workflows
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of JavaScript/NodeJS, HTML/CSS, Responsive/Adaptive Design
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, and Git
- Familiarity with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS

Compensation and Application
The base pay ranges from $118,600 to $205,000/year based on geographic market and experience. This position will remain posted until filled. Applicants should apply via our internal or external career site.
