The Opportunity: Content Policy Operations Specialist

We are seeking an innovative Content Policy Operations Specialist to join the Prime Video Trust & Safety Operations team. This role focuses on safeguarding customers from content-related risks and driving efficiency improvements. The specialist will manage day-to-day issues and strategize on long-term, program-wide initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate possesses a critical yet empathetic mindset, capable of making high-judgment decisions. They are independent, embrace ownership and accountability, and are customer-obsessed problem solvers who can effectively prioritize work. Experience in T&S political or current event analysis is highly valued.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct manual reviews of global content policy compliance operations.
  • Make high judgment decisions on compliance actions.
  • Drive projects that improve support-related functions and processes, prioritizing the leverage of technology and automation.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures through effective collaboration with stakeholders including Policy, Operations, and Program teams.
  • Document comprehensive content investigation reports.
  • Help drive critical decisions by analyzing data and surfacing insights to improve efficiency.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects/assignments as necessary.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in industry best practices.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to work with sensitive and/or graphic content.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
  • Experience handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives.
  • Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines.
  • 2 years of Trust & Safety, law, risk management, investigations, compliance, or program management experience.
  • Experience with U.S. and/or global political content, with the ability to analyze political narratives, assess risk, and contextualize emerging trends.
  • Proven ability to exercise high judgment when policies are not well defined.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fraud/risk investigations.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate complex information in policy documents, risk assessments, or technical reports.
