Human Resources Generalist at Prime Healthcare
The Human Resources Generalist manages day-to-day HR operations and provides a wide range of complex human resources support to employees and leadership at all levels. This role ensures the comprehensive administration of HR policies and procedures while performing duties across multiple core HR functional areas. This position acts as a hands-on internal consultant, collaborating on cross-functional HR projects and supporting classification, compensation, employee development, acquisition initiatives, and legal compliance in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily HR operations to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures
- Provide complex HR support across all levels of the organization
- Administer classification and compensation programs, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness
- Support employee development initiatives, including training, coaching, and career growth programs
- Collaborate on acquisition projects and other cross-functional HR initiatives
- Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws and organizational policies
- Serve as an internal HR consultant, providing guidance and support on a broad range of human resources matters
- Partner with leadership and staff to implement HR solutions that support organizational objectives
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or closely related field, or at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- 3 - 4 year’s recent health care experience in a Human Resources Department.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities to produce a large volume of material with attention to detail.
- Computer knowledge that includes Excel, Word, Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
- PHR, SPHR or relevant human resources certifications or advanced degree preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $66,976.00 to $93,516.80 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
