Accounts Payable Accountant

About the Role

Priceline's Accounts Payable Accountant manages timely processing of various transactions including employee expense reimbursements, trade vendors, and customer refunds. This role ensures adherence to internal controls, proper approval, and documentation of payments while proactively researching and resolving issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Process multi-currency transactions, invoices, and expense reports.
• Audit and approve T&E reports weekly.
• Provide guidance on T&E systems, tools, and policies.
• Generate monthly reports tracking expense activities and policy adherence.
• Ensure proper system configuration and authorization for payments.
• Match PO, receiver, and invoice and resolve discrepancies.
• Troubleshoot system workflow issues and reconcile vendor statements.
• Coordinate on month-end closing and resolve variances with teams.
• Maintain accurate files for audit purposes and support documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements including automation.

Who You Are

Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years experience in accounts payable, a degree in Accounting, Finance or Business is preferred, and strong proficiency in MS Word/Excel. You must be adept at handling multi-currency, possess solid research and analytical skills, and be capable of maintaining confidentiality with integrity.
