The Role
You will join a small product team and take full ownership of a core area of Pretto: the internal tools and processes that drive our lending business.
Your Missions
- Make Finspot the Real Estate Lending Reference: Finspot is Pretto's core brokerage tool, from initial simulation to bank submission. You will work on two intertwined projects:
- Credit Functional Coverage: Ensure Finspot covers all real estate credit products with accurate and up-to-date logic, requiring collaboration between tech, math, and finance.
- Integrate Our AI Agents: Calibrate recommendations, manage improvement loops, and evolve the knowledge base for 'Coach', our AI assistant for brokers.
- Streamline Our Lending Machine: You will be the product point person for two teams operating Pretto's core operations.
- Banking Quality Service (SQB): Ensure all loan applications sent to banks are compliant and well-prepared. Your role will involve automating processes in this dense area.
- Back Office (BOS): Manage loan files post-approval. This currently manual process is ripe for automation, where your role will be to identify key areas for LLM or other AI-driven improvements.
The Profile We're Looking For
- Education: Graduate of a top engineering school (X, Centrale, Mines, Ponts, etc.) or a dual engineering/business degree.
- Experience: 5 years in product management or a relevant role (development, data, operations), ideally in a technical environment (fintech, SaaS, marketplace).
- Builder: You intuitively explore tools like Claude or Lovable to understand problems before writing specs. You can build prototypes quickly to test hypotheses and create living specifications. You understand developers' work to facilitate their process.
- Shaper: You don't accept problems as presented; you dig deeper to uncover unexpected angles. You recognize that a superficially polished but shallow pitch is more dangerous than a poorly stated problem.
- Pragmatic: You value well-functioning processes. You work closely with SQB and BOS teams, treating them as colleagues, and aim for rapid impact.
- Comfortable with Credit Complexity: Real estate lending involves intricate logic, eligibility rules, ratios, and edge cases. While not requiring expertise, you must enjoy unraveling such structured complexities.
