Role Description
As a Presidio Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for leading architecture and design discussions with architects and clients. You will leverage your strong working knowledge of public cloud platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS), to drive innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and design discussions with clients and internal teams.
- Implement and automate infrastructure on cloud platforms using strong scripting knowledge (Shell, Python, Ruby).
- Utilize configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack) for efficient infrastructure management.
- Manage infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Support application development teams in designing and automating cloud infrastructure.
- Maintain and enhance existing cloud environments, focusing on automation, stability, availability, and security.
- Configure and manage microservices using container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Apply DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline development using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of overall experience.
- Strong working knowledge of AWS.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Ruby.
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
