The Role

Presidio is seeking an Associate Analyst to join our cloud Data Science team. This role involves analyzing cloud infrastructure costs and utilization, supporting decision-making, assessing risks, identifying trends, and collaborating on model development.

Responsibilities Include

  • Cloud Infrastructure Exploratory Analysis: Perform comprehensive analysis of current customer cloud infrastructure costs and utilization to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Decision-Making Support: Provide insights and analysis to support informed decision-making in relation to our Cloud customer offerings.
  • Risk Assessment: Assess and evaluate risks associated with cloud operations, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Trend Analysis: Identify trends and patterns in cloud usage to anticipate future requirements and resource allocation.
  • Model Development: Collaborate on the creation of predictive and classification models to enhance efficiency and decision-making.

Required Skills And Professional Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work/military experience. Master's degree in Data Science, Cloud Computing, or Business Analytics preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience with cloud data (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • 1-3 years of experience with data analysis.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, matplotlib, seaborn, ggplot2, AWS Quicksight.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Excel.
  • Detailed oriented with the ability to complete tasks independently and in a timely manner.
  • Experience in data analysis, data wrangling, modeling, and risk assessment.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
