Description
As a Merchant Card Sales Representative, you will focus on engaging merchants and enabling them to accept a major credit card brand. You will be the face of the brand, visiting local merchants to increase stated merchant acceptance, and collaborating with various teams to resolve technical issues and convert merchants to fully accept the card.

Responsibilities
What will you do?
- Conduct on-site visits to merchants in your assigned territory to secure card acceptance and share the value story.
- Act as the face of the brand while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Regularly visit local merchants to educate them, place signage, test terminals, and address issues.
- Convert merchants to full acceptance of a major credit card brand.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical obstacles.
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships.
Qualifications
How will you succeed?
- Travel 50 to 75% of the time – occasional overnight travel is required.
- Overcome objections and influence merchant behavior.
- Manage priorities to work smartly and efficiently.
- Utilize your Salesforce skills to track and manage activity.
What experience should you have?
- Candidates must have prior experience in the merchant services industry to be considered for an interview.
- Experience with merchant services processing and territory management.
- Experience in ISO processing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
- Effective communication and influencing abilities.
- A customer-focused mindset with a strong service orientation.
