Patient Safety Operations Intern

Overview

The Patient Safety Operations Intern works collaboratively within a team of highly qualified professionals to leverage technology and standardized approaches. The intern is responsible for curating patient safety best practice resources, leading internal growth projects, and assisting with the implementation of recommended improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Literature Review: Search and review patient safety literature and develop educational content.
• Resource Curation: Identify and recommend online resources for Premier PSO.
• Project Leadership: Lead internal growth initiatives and manage project deliverables using Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and project management software (MS Project, Visio).
• Training: Complete all required training requirements.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required; currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in healthcare, business, finance, or related fields is beneficial. Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and organizational management are necessary.

Working Conditions & Benefits

This role is remote with occasional travel (1-20% within the US). Candidates will enjoy a competitive salary range ($52,000 - $78,000) and benefits including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401k, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
