Overview

The Consultant Advisory Services role at Premier Inc. delivers performance improvement to healthcare systems. Working collaboratively within a team of highly qualified Advisory consultants, you will perform billable work, analyze and interpret data, develop initial recommendations, draft deliverables, and assist in implementing improvements.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves active participation in all engagement phases, including:

  • Identifying issues, forming hypotheses, and planning.
  • Conducting client interviews and data analyses.
  • Developing recommendations and drafting deliverables.
  • Leading production and quality assurance for analytics deliverables.
  • Overseeing Analysts when required.

Analytics Focus

For analytics-focused roles, responsibilities include building interactive data models, standardizing processes, troubleshooting Tableau workbooks, SQL scripts, and Excel analyses, and generating data-driven insights.

Additional Responsibilities

Other duties include practice development activities, continuous learning of Premier-based technologies, and maintaining utilization targets for billable projects.

Required & Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience with a high school education (Bachelor’s preferred). Skills include advanced Excel, Tableau, statistical tools (R, Python, SAS, Matlab), risk management and negotiation skills, along with experience in healthcare, business, or finance.

This is a remote role with extensive travel across the US (81-100%).
