Senior Data Analyst

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join us at Predoc. In this role, you’ll dive deep into large healthcare datasets, audit and improve data quality, and collaborate closely with our data engineering and ML engineering crew.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze complex data across multiple distributed sources.
• Contribute to data documentation, lineage tracking, and metadata management.
• Audit pipelines, spot issues, and help define best practices for data quality.
• Engage with data engineering to enhance our data infrastructure.
• Translate business questions into analytics and communicate findings with stakeholders.
• Develop clear data visualizations for informed decision-making.

Required Skills

• Experience in healthcare or health tech working with various data providers and standards (HIE, Script data, Data Archivers, HL7, FHIR, C-CDA, etc.).
• Strong Python skills including libraries such as pandas, numpy, scipy, matplotlib, seaborn, and plotly.
• Hands-on experience with SQL (PostgreSQL preferred) and data formats like Hierarchical JSON, CSV, XML, and Parquet.
• Solid foundation in statistical validation techniques and hypothesis testing.
• Experience with data modeling and working with data lakehouses.
• Understanding of ETL workflows and data pipeline orchestration.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with data testing and validation tools like pandera, pydantic, great_expectations, etc.
• Experience developing and maintaining data reference documentation (data dictionary or similar).
