R&D Process Engineer at Pratt Industries
Pratt R&D is focused on developing new products and technologies across a wide range of industries including paper production, thermal packaging, and more. The R&D Process Engineer will work on creating new products, testing prototypes, and refining existing products in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop new products to meet consumer needs.
- Plan, execute and monitor product testing.
- Redesign and refine existing products.
- Collaborate with other departments on product concepts.
- Test prototypes for functionality and longevity.
- Prepare and perform cold chain tests for food products.
- Maintain lab organization and sterile conditions.
- Import and organize data using Excel.
- Document photos and steps of each test performed.
Qualifications & Skills
Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred), Materials Science or a relevant field and demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft 365 and advanced analytical skills. Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership experiences are valued.

- Highly organized, precise, and able to manage time effectively.
- Occasional physical tasks (up to 60lbs) as needed.
