The Mission

At Praetorian, we transition organizations from an "assume breach" mindset to a proactive offensive security approach. As an AI Operations Engineer, you will work with a team that builds an AI-native ecosystem to power SaaS offerings and elite Professional Services through invisible operations where automation and self-healing systems dominate.

Core Responsibilities

• AI-Native Operations & Infrastructure: Lead the deployment of generative AI infrastructure for self-service automation.
• Model Orchestration: Manage routing for frontier and open-source models using tools like LiteLLM, AWS Bedrock, and n8n.
• Agentic Frameworks & RAG: Build retrieval-augmented generation systems and agentic workflows integrated with internal knowledge bases.
• Developer Experience: Enhance workflows by integrating AI-driven CLIs and IDEs.
• Infrastructure as Code: Contribute to designing, securing, and automating environments using Terraform, Pulumi, and similar tools.
• Cloud-First Architecture: Primarily work with AWS while learning GCP and Azure to build scalable serverless architectures.
• SaaS Integration: Automate integrations with systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, Linear, and Notion.
• Security-First Architecture: Collaborate with Red Teams to implement Zero-Trust networking and secure build pipelines.
• Identity Access Management: Automate the access management stack (Okta, Google Workspace, SSO).
• Offensive Tooling Support: Support specialized environments for penetration testing and adversarial simulations.

Areas of Accountability & Qualifications

You are expected to have high agency and a driven builder mindset. Ideal candidates are relentless autodidacts with a strong foundation in Python or Go, cloud native passion (especially AWS), and a practical, secure approach to AI/ML frameworks. Experience with macOS device management and an obsession for automation are key traits.
