The Mission
Praetorian is an expert-driven offensive security company dedicated to preventing breaches before they occur. We are building an AI-native ecosystem that powers our SaaS offerings and elite Professional Services with invisible, automated operations.
Core Responsibilities
- AI-Native Operations & Infrastructure: Deploy Generative AI infrastructure and build self-service automation systems.
- Model Orchestration: Route and orchestrate frontier models using tools like LiteLLM, AWS Bedrock, and n8n.
- Cloud & Systems Engineering: Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform, Pulumi and design serverless, high-availability environments.
- Security & Identity: Partner with internal teams to implement Zero-Trust networking and automate IAM solutions.
- Developer Experience: Enhance workflows with AI-driven CLIs, IDEs, and integrations for internal tools.
Areas of Accountability
You are expected to take high agency and ownership by engaging in hands-on execution: coding, debugging, and building friction-free employee experiences while ensuring scalability and performance.
Qualifications
- Relentless Autodidact: Proven track record of self-teaching and delivering working projects.
- Polyglot Engineer: Strong foundation in Python or Go, with eagerness to learn new integrations.
- Cloud Native Passion: Expertise with AWS primary environments and fast learning of Azure/GCP.
- AI Pragmatist: Distinguish between AI hype and practical automation benefits.
- MacOS & Device Engineering: Interest in managing macOS devices and related open-source software.
